Holiday Recipe from Rocky Mountain Lodge:
CINNAMON CIDER

1 gallon apple cider
-
2/3 cup sugar

2 tsp. whole allspice
-
2 tsp. whole cloves
-
2 cinnamon sticks, 3 inches long
-
2 small oranges, studded with cloves
Heat all ingredients except oranges to boiling in large pot on stove; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Strain punch. Pour into small heatproof punchbowl. Float oranges in bowl. Serve hot.
