- May 28-30: 2nd Annual Meadow Grass Music Festival - This festival is set in the middle of a beautiful meadow, surrounded by majestic Ponderosa Pines, with an incredible view of Pikes Peak in the background. - June 5: Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Fest - The festival begins at Memorial Park from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Over 24 wineries will be pouring samples of the wines they produce. Live entertainment will be performed throughout the afternoon. Specialty food & wine related gift booths will also be located throughout the park.

People from all over the world descend on downtown, drawn by a chance to watch a race inspired by the town’s resident donkey herd, distant relatives of the original donkeys from the town’s Gold Rush days. Enjoy games, live entertainment, heritage competitions and other family activities at Donkey Derby Days, Cripple Creek’s biggest event of the year.
- June 27: 87th Annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb - Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the world's highest auto race and one of the most grueling events in all of motor racing. The start line at 9,400 feet is high enough to leave anyone short of breath. And the climb to the towering 14,110 foot finish punishes drivers and their vehicles.

- August 1: Bronc Day Festival - The 72nd Bronc Day Festival is free family fun for everyone. The day starts at 7 a.m. with the Mucky Duck 5K and pancake breakfast at the fire station. A big parade at 10 a.m. includes the Fort Carson Mounted Color Guard, fire engines, floats, antique cars, clowns, stilt walkers, stagecoach, cowboys, gunfighters, and kids on decorated bicycles. Can't make it in the morning? Well, the rest of the day's still got lots of fun activities that are perfect for the whole family: a rubber duckie race, nail driving contest, Midland Rail Run, face painting, kid’s games, and a radio controlled model boat race on the Gazebo Lake will all compete for your attention. There will also be a 26 foot high air slide, Disney bouncer and arts & crafts booths.

- August 7-8: 25th Annual Mountain Arts Festival - The 25th annual Mountain Arts Festival is being held in early August in Woodland Park. The weekend-long festival will be held on the grounds of the Ute Pass Cultural Center and is the Teller County's longest-running juried outdoor arts festival. This year's Mountain Arts Festival features more than 70 regional artists (and some participants from as far away as California and Maryland). Art mediums include: painting, watercolor, pastels, wood products, jewelry, pottery, photography, stained glass, and more. Food and drinks will be available.

- August 21-22: 55th Annual Pikes Peak Ascent and Pikes Peak Marathon - One of America's greatest races, of any kind, will redefine what you call running. The first leg has you heading in the direction "up". During the next 10 miles you gain almost 6,000 vertical feet. For the last three miles, with still over 2,000' of vertical to go, you'll realize where the Marathon got its moniker - America's Ultimate Challenge. A race for the serious runner, not to be missed!

- September 4-6: 34th Annual Colorado Balloon Classic - The Colorado Balloon Classic is an annual family event, admission is free, held each Labor Day weekend. Mass ascensions of over 100 balloons are scheduled for Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings with a Balloon GloŽ scheduled for Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Each year a variety of concessions are available and entertainment is provided during each event.

- October 29: Emma Crawford's Victorian Wake - In 1889 Emma Crawford succumbed to an illness and as she wished was laid to rest on top of Red Mountain. Years later her coffin washed down the granite cliff.
Admission includes entrance into Miramont Castle, and Victorian wake. The event is graced in pure Victorian splendor and you will enjoy Victorian food and beverage in the great hall.

- October 30: 16th Annual Emma Crawford Coffin Race & Parade - As featuerd on the Travel Channel, the world world famous legend of Emma Crawford lives again Saturday, October 30th as coffins and "Emmas" race up the town's main street,
