Prep Time: 25 Minutes
Cook Time: 5 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Servings: About 24 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows, or 30 large marshmallows*
  • 1 tsp. green food coloring
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
  • 5 cups cornflakes cereal
  • red hot candies
  • non-stick cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. In a large microwave safe bowl microwave butter and marshmallows in 30 second increments (*mini marshmallows melt easier), stirring, until melted. Add food coloring and extract; stir until smooth. Add cornflakes and gently stir until cereal is evenly coated.

  2. Pack the mixture into a greased 1/4 cup measuring cup and turn out onto the sheet pan. Use your fingers to make a hole in the middle to form a wreath shape and decorate with red candies. It's easiest to form the wreath holes if your fingers are damp or coated in cooking spray. Allow to cool.
