Colorado Springs Hot Air Balloon Festival

Colorado Springs is home to the largest balloon festival in Colorado. It has hosted the annual Labor Day Lift Off since 1977. The Colorado Springs Hot Air Balloon Festival has been named #5 in the Top 14 Best Balloon Festivals in the World by Us News and World Reports 2023!

More than 70 balloons filled the skies above Memorial Park and the Pikes Peak region, with a delightful balloon glow at night.

Taking place 3 days over Labor Day weekend at Memorial Park and Prospect Lake in Colorado Springs, guests can watch dozens of hot air balloons float around the city. With live music, food and drink vendors, a kid’s play area, aerial acrobatics, the USAFA Wings of Blue Skydive Jumpers and more, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained.

Though the festival itself is free, you may want to consider purchasing a parking pass or you’ll be parking blocks away.
