Our B & B Rooms at Pikes Peak

Rocky Mountain Lodge is a true “Colorado Lodge” near Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs at the entrance to Pikes Peak. The rustic historic Lodge was built in 1936 on 2 1/2 acres with beautiful mountain views, graced by over three hundred Spruce and Ponderosa Pine trees and surrounded by a grove of scrub oak and lilac bushes. The Bed & Breakfast lodge has four guest rooms, each with a private bathroom. Snuggle up in the great room in front of the massive stone fireplace with a book or the morning newspaper and a cup of fresh coffee. Relax in the outdoor hot tub and take in the foothill mountains by day and western stars by night. And come with an appetite for our signature three-course gourmet breakfast, served each morning to our B&B guests. Each of the four guestrooms is rustic with knotty pine interior, and each room is unique.  To ensure that your stay is comfortable, all bedrooms have a queen bed, private in-room bathroom, individual room heat and control, TV/DVD player, and complimentary wireless Internet. Choose from a sleigh, high post, knotty pine, or antique bed for your restful night’s stay at Rocky Mountain Lodge.  Original furnishings decorate several of the rooms. Each of the bedrooms will offer you comfort with a sense of Colorado past.

THE RAMONA ROOM $140-$160 per night

The Ramona Room is named after a magnificent historic Cascade hotel popular during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. It is the largest room at Rocky Mountain Lodge and is located upstairs on the 2nd floor.

This room features a queen-sized cherry sleigh bed with beautiful handmade morning star quilt and window coverings, and historic photos of the Cascade area and the historic Ramona Hotel. It also has an electric fireplace, a sitting alcove, and cable HDTV/DVD player.

The private bathroom with a shower and standard-sized bathtub is perfect for a soothing soak after a long day of hiking, horseback riding, or whitewater rafting.

Individual room heat and control allow you to set the room for your own comfort.

One of the most unique features you’ll find in the Ramona Room is on the door jamb to the bathroom.  There you’ll find marked along the trim the heights of the original owners’ children as they were growing up. This was the master bedroom of the original owners back in the 1930’s, and there’s a doorbell in this room that was used to ring the maid in her quarters (now the owner’s quarters). Let us know if you have found the doorbell when you stay in this room.
