Rent Our Cabin for Your Pikes Peak Mountain Getaway
Our cabin rental at Pikes Peak is home in the little mountain town of Cascade, Colorado, just minutes away from attractions in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and Woodland Park.
The log cabin was built in 1909 as a 1-room hunter’s cabin. It was added onto in the 1930’s, expanding it to 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room, full kitchen, and private patio with beautiful mountain views. It has been upgraded several times since then but keeps the same original charm and historic attributes as when it was first built. You’ll feel like you stepped back in time, yet have all the modern amenities you need to keep you comfortable and plugged in.
The living room includes a rock gas fireplace, cable TV/HDTV/DVD player, and complimentary Wi-Fi is included.
The spacious master bedroom has a king bed. The second small bedroom has bunk beds.
The charming knotty pine kitchen is stocked with all the supplies you need to prepare and cook meals, or just have a pot of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Just bring your food and you’re all set!
The one bathroom is a “Jack and Jill” style bathroom between the two bedrooms, with a jetted tub and shower combination.
The outdoor patio is surrounded by a brick wall and wood fence for privacy, and has beautiful mountain views. It also has a private outdoor hot tub to relax in after a long day hiking or exploring the Pikes Peak area.
The Cabin will sleep up to 4 people (no more than 4 people, children of all ages count as a person, including infants). The Cabin is best suited for a couple or a small family.

*Please be aware this Cabin is not secluded and all by itself out in the woods. The Cabin and the Cottage are next door to each other on the same property. We are located in a very small mountain community with only a few hundred homes in the whole town, many of them summer vacation homes. It’s the perfect “home away from home” while you enjoy your Colorado getaway.
**You may not have mobile service while staying in this rustic mountain cabin. Verizon is typically the only cell provider that typically works here. We do have WiFi, however.
***The Cabin does not have A/C, but we have what we affectionately call “Mountain Air Conditioning”. During the summer months it typically drops down to the 40’s or 50’s at night, and if you open the windows at night and close them in the morning it will keep the Cabin nice and cool. The system works like a charm, you will be amazed!
