Total Time: 3 Hours and 15 Minutes
Servings: 8-12

Ingredients:

  • 10-14 lb bone-in cooked ham
  • Whole cloves
  • 2 (16-oz each) cans whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup burgundy wine, or other dry red wine
  • 2 Tbsp prepared mustard

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°. Place the ham, fat side up, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Score the fat in a diamond pattern; stud with whole cloves. Bake about 3 hours, or until a meat thermometer registers 140°. While the ham is cooking prepare the glaze. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, spread 1/4 of the sauce over the ham.

  2. In a medium saucepan stir together the cranberry sauce, brown sugar, wine and mustard. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Spoon 1/4 of the sauce over the ham during the last 30 minutes of roasting. Reheat the remaining sauce and serve with the ham.
