These are such easy baked beans! You will never buy the ones in the can again once you make these. You can make them in as little as 30 minutes, or you can slow cook them, either way, they will be a HIT at your summer BBQ. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. thick-sliced bacon, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 2 (16-oz each) cans pork-n-beans in sauce

Instructions:

  1. Cook bacon until a fair amount of grease is in pan. Add onions and continue to cook until onion is tender and translucent.

  2. While the bacon and onion is cooking, in the bottom of a crock pot, or 2-quart casserole dish, mix together the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Add the beans, cooked bacon and onions, and stir to combine. Cook on low in the crock for up to 6 hours, or bake at 350° for 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.
