This Salted Caramel Sauce is SO addicting! I use for a variety of of things. I’ll put it in cheesecakes, in my apple pies, drizzle it over ice cream, French toast or pancakes, and it’s also a great dipping sauce for sliced apples and other fruits. And if you don’t want it salted just skip the salt and you have regular Caramel Sauce!

It’s also super easy to make and takes less than 15 minutes. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

And it makes a great gift at holidays.

Servings: about 2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14-oz) pkg vanilla caramels, unwrapped
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan place all ingredients. Heat and stir over medium-low heat until melted and smooth. Pour into jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month and use as needed. Just warm in the microwave or over the stove when you are ready to use. Or just spoon it right out of the jar!
