I love Pecan Pie! And this recipe is one I’ve been making for many years, and is a keeper! And it’s a really easy pie to make. I make it along with Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie (and a few others 😀 ) over the holidays. But Pecan Pie is one of my personal favorites and I make it mostly for me (but I share 😉 ). Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 disc Grandma Tillie's Pie Crust (link in the description)
  • 4 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup light Karo (corn) syrup
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie pan; set aside.

  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt until smooth. Add the syrup, eggs, and vanilla, then fold in the pecans. Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until firm to the touch. Serve warm or cold.
