My husband and I have a tradition of having Fondue at home on Valentine’s Day instead of going out to dinner. It’s crowded at restaurants, hard to get a reservation if you don’t plan way ahead, and expensive! So instead, we have a romantic dinner at home.
We start with a Cheese Fondue, then move on to the main entree with Filet Mignon cut into cubes, and sometimes include chicken cubes, shrimp and scallops. Then we move on to a Chocolate Fondue for dessert.
With the main entrees you need to have some dipping sauces for the meats and seafood. In addition to the ones featured below, be creative and try other sauce as well, such as Teriyaki Sauce, Chili Sauce, Pesto, Rapberry-Jalapeno Jam, and whatever your taste buds might like.
